Welcome
to

'talk' online

TEACHING Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and Classroom Assistants are worth their weight in gold. However the tasks you are being asked to perform are becoming more and more complex. ’talk’ is here to give you a voice.

‘talk’ is based at Latchmere School in North Kingston.  A Newsletter is published twice a term and sent to all Primary School Teaching Assistants.  In addition you are invited to attend the termly meetings which include a topical workshop and the chance to network with colleagues from other schools.   Heather Morey is the Coordinator for 'talk' and can be contacted by email or phone.  Please see 'info and contact' page.. Questions, queries and ideas for future workshops are very welcome and if your school would like to host a 'talk' meeting do let me know.

'talk' has been set up with the full support of the Royal Borough of Kingston and is a network to provide Teaching Assistants with opportunities:

  • To meet
  • To be heard
  • To exchange ideas
  • To support each other
  • To receive training
  • To provide information regarding professional development
  • To keep up to date and discuss current issues (including pay and conditions)

www.talk-rbksch.org is a website designed to support the network and to provide you with another line of communication.

We hope that you find it useful.
