Latchmere School Parents Association There is an active Parents' Association which holds regular social and fund-raising activities. Parents of children Latchmere School automatically become members, and you will receive regular newsletters and details of events via pupil-post and the school notice boards. With the LSPA's help, we have been able to make vast improvements to the facilities and resources available to the children. Among other things, the LSPA built the Latchmere swimming pool and is now responsible for its upkeep. The Association organises extra after-school swimming classes and 'Splash' sessions. It also runs the school uniform shop. The LSPA is only as strong as its members and we encourage as many parents to participate in its activities as possible. It always welcomes new committee members, who are elected annually at the spring Annual General Meeting. The association also welcomes practical help of all sorts and ideas for new events.
